HempAgra Celebrates Grand Opening of State-of-the-Art Hemp Processing Facility

Rock Valley, Iowa, July 29, 2026 — HempAgra proudly welcomed customers, partners, growers, community leaders, USDA representatives, and industry stakeholders to its official Open House and Ribbon Cutting last week, celebrating the launch of one of North America’s most advanced industrial hemp processing facilities.

The celebration featured an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, guided facility tours, product demonstrations, and networking opportunities that brought together growers, distributors, researchers, manufacturers, and industry professionals from across North America.

Attendees had the opportunity to see firsthand how the HempTrain™ processing system delivers consistent, high-quality hemp materials to meet the demands of a rapidly expanding industrial hemp market.

Throughout the day, guests toured the state-of-the-art processing facility, experienced a live demonstration of the HempTrain™ processing system, met the HempAgra team, and learned how industrial hemp is transformed into premium hemp hurd and fiber for applications including premium pet bedding, garden mulch, sustainable construction, textiles, and other bio-based products.

The event was attended by the ownership and senior management team of Canadian Greenfield Technologies, the developer and supplier of the HempTrain™ processing system, underscoring the strategic partnership with the technology provider.

Also featured was HempAgra’s partnership with RenewaBuild Great Plains, showcasing its structural hemp building blocks at the event. As a primary supplier of hemp hurd, HempAgra will support RenewaBuild Great Plains in manufacturing innovative hemp-based building materials. The exhibit demonstrated the growing potential of hemp-based construction materials and highlighted how industrial hemp can play a key role in developing more sustainable, renewable building products.

Additional partners in attendance included Farmer’s Savings Bank, Bish Enterprises, Greenfield Custom, Verve Seeds, Horizon Specialty Seeds, and Funke Baling. Their participation reflected the strong network of partnerships supporting HempAgra’s growth and the continued development of the North American industrial hemp supply chain.

“We’re incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received from our growers, customers, partners, and the Rock Valley community,” said Steve Vonk, CEO of HempAgra. “This facility represents more than an investment in hemp processing—it represents our commitment to creating new opportunities for agriculture, manufacturing, and sustainable products across North America. We believe the future of industrial hemp depends on strong partnerships throughout the value chain, and we’re excited to help drive that future forward.”

As demand continues to grow for sustainable, renewable materials, HempAgra remains focused on delivering premium hemp hurd and fiber while investing in innovation, supporting North American agriculture, and building long-term partnerships that strengthen the industrial hemp supply chain.

HempAgra extends its sincere thanks to every grower, customer, partner, community member, and guest who attended the event. Your support, collaboration, and enthusiasm made the day a tremendous success, and we look forward to continuing to grow the industrial hemp industry together.
