HempAgra Announces Commercial Production and First Retail Shipments of Premium Hemp Products
Rock Valley, Iowa — July 14, 2026 — HempAgra, a vertically integrated North American hemp processing company, today announced that its state-of-the-art HempTrain™ processing facility in Rock Valley, Iowa, has officially entered commercial production. Following successful commissioning by the engineering team from Canadian Greenfield Technologies Corp. (CGT), developers of the HempTrain™ processing technology, HempAgra has begun supplying its Premium Hemp products to Home Hardware, a major home improvement retailer, with the first several truckloads now shipping to support distribution across its network of more than 1,100 dealer locations.
The milestone marks a significant step forward in HempAgra’s mission to establish a reliable North American supply chain for high-quality hemp-based products while creating new markets for domestically grown industrial hemp.
“Our team has worked incredibly hard to bring this facility from development into commercial production,” said Dawson Vonk, Vice President & Operations Manager of HempAgra. “Seeing our first retail shipments leave the facility and reach the marketplace is a major accomplishment for our growers, employees, partners, and the entire hemp industry.”
HempAgra’s Rock Valley facility utilizes advanced HempTrain™ processing technology to transform locally grown industrial hemp into value-added materials, including clean, spec-sized hurd and long, clean, intact bast fiber. These materials serve as renewable inputs for a wide range of applications across multi-billion-dollar global markets, including sustainable construction, animal care, textiles, and bio-based composites.
The Home Hardware launch represents the first phase of HempAgra’s retail expansion strategy. HempAgra is currently working on fulfilling another order for a major pet care store chain. As production continues to ramp up, HempAgra products are also becoming available through major online retail channels, with additional retail, distribution, and manufacturing partnerships planned across the United States and Canada.
With commercial production underway, HempAgra is establishing itself as a key supplier of high-quality hemp materials and finished products for North America’s growing bioeconomy and is actively seeking strategic partnerships throughout the hemp value chain.
